We are seeking an experienced Butcher / Meat Worker / Knife Hand / Boner / Portion Cutter for early morning cutting operations (4:00am-7:00am), Monday to Friday.
n
This is a highly flexible role suited to experienced operators looking for:
n
n
- Full-time employment across production and warehouse
n
- Part-time early morning work (ideal if you want to maintain other employment)
n
- Contractor arrangements for skilled knife hands
n
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Portion cutting meat to customer specifications
n
- Bandsaw operation (essential)
n
- Boning, trimming, slicing and knife work
n
- Maintaining yield, consistency and product quality
n
- Working within food safety / HACCP standards
n
- General production / warehouse duties (full-time roles)
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
n
- Experience as a butcher, meat worker, knife hand, boner or portion cutter
n
- Strong bandsaw experience (essential)
n
- Ability to portion cut accurately to weight and spec
n
- Reliable with ability to work early morning shifts (4am start)
n
- Experience in rapid-paced meat processing environments
n
n
Pay & Benefits
n
n
- $38 - $50 per hour (depending on experience and arrangement)
n
- Monday-Friday only - no weekend work
n
- Flexible arrangements to suit full-time, part-time or contractor engagement
n
- Opportunity to work morning shift and continue other employment
