About the role

n

Protonautics is seeking an experienced CMM programmer to lead measurement systems capability. This is a hands-on technical role where you will be the authority on metrology, inspection, GD&T;, calibration and measurement system performance across our manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Program and support CMM operations using PC-DMIS
n
- Lead and develop our CMM and metrology capability
n
- Create and maintain inspection procedures, work instructions and training materials
n
- Manage calibration, maintenance and verification of measurement systems
n
- Collaborate with machinists and provide feedback regarding results and GD&T;
n
- Conduct quality inspections and support AS9100 compliance activities
n
- Assist with customer and certification audits
n
- Identify opportunities for process,



equipment and technology improvements

About you

n

n
- Qualification or tertiary training in metrology
n
- Strong industrial manufacturing experience
n
- Advanced knowledge of GD&T; and dimensional inspection
n
- Proven CMM programming and operation experience
n
- Proficient with PC-DMIS
n
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
n
- Organised, self-motivated and detail focused
n
