We are looking for a reliable and passionate Commis Chef to join our dedicated kitchen team.

n

Reporting directly to the Head Chef, you will play an integral role in daily meal preparation,

n

plated functions, and buffet service while ensuring exceptional food quality and kitchen

n

presentation.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Assist the Head Chef in preparing, cooking, and plating high-quality dishes for daily
n
- service and special events.
n
- Utilise Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to set up, dress buffets, and manage function
n
- prep.
n
- Maintain strict standards of kitchen cleanliness, food hygiene, cool room
n
- organization, and WHS compliance.
n
- Assist with receiving, inspecting, and storing food deliveries correctly.
n
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen team and Food & Beverage Supervisor to ensure
n
- smooth service flow.
n

About You





n

n
- With 3–5 years of experience working in a commercial kitchen setting with strong
n
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
n
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
n
- Ability to self-direct and manage required tasks without constant supervision.
n
- With Food Handlers and Safety Certification and Working with Children Check
n
- (WWCC).
n
