Role focus:

This role will provide advanced technical capability across operating systems, endpoint and server platforms, PowerShell, C# .NET, SCCM, Azure services and Microsoft Graph to support the delivery, maintenance and improvement of complex departmental ICT platforms and managed operating environment services. The role requires strong troubleshooting, pragmatic solution design, documentation, peer review, mentoring and collaboration skills, with a focus on delivering structured, maintainable and supportable outcomes while contributing to improved team processes, knowledge sharing and planned capability transfer.

Responsibilities

- Provide senior technical capability for the design, maintenance and improvement of departmental operating system platforms, Azure-integrated services, managed operating setting services and supporting automation.
- Support the delivery of structured, maintainable and fit-for-purpose ICT solutions through troubleshooting, documentation, peer review, mentoring and cross-team collaboration.
- Design, develop, maintain and troubleshoot solutions across operating systems, endpoint and server platforms,



PowerShell, C# .NET, SCCM, Intune, Azure services and Microsoft Graph.
- Analyse complex technical issues, identify root causes and implement pragmatic, supportable resolutions.
- Develop and maintain scripts, tools, configuration items, Graph-based integrations and supporting documentation to improve operational efficiency and service reliability.
- Review technical designs, code, documentation and implementation approaches produced by peers, providing constructive feedback and mentoring where required.
- Contribute to knowledge transfer, documentation uplift and process improvement activities to reduce reliance on individual knowledge and improve team supportability.

Experience:

- Advanced technical capability across operating systems, endpoint and server platforms, automation, Azure services and Microsoft Graph.
- Experience developing and maintaining software, scripts, tools and integrations using technologies such as PowerShell and C# .NET.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex enterprise ICT environments.
- Ability to produce practical, maintainable and supportable solutions that are fit for purpose.
- Strong communication, documentation and collaboration skills, including the ability to review work, mentor others and contribute to improved team practices.
