Early Intervention Behaviour Therapist

Jellybean House is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and compassionate Early Intervention Behaviour Therapist to join our growing team in Tamworth, NSW.

About the Role

n

Jellybean House provides Early Intervention Behaviour Therapy, supporting children through engaging, individualised and play-based sessions.

n

Our supports focus on developing skills in:

n

n
- Emotional recognition and regulation
n
- Behavioural strategies
n
- Cognitive and executive functioning skills
n
- Social skills and self-awareness
n
- Educational development
n
- Physical development
n

n

You will work directly with children and their families, helping each child develop practical skills, confidence and greater independence.

n

What You'll Be Doing

n

As part of the Jellybean House team, you will:

n

n
- Provide weekly face-to-face support sessions with children using fun, engaging and play-based therapeutic activities.
n
- Plan and implement individualised term programs that support each child's developmental needs and goals.
n
- Build positive and supportive relationships with children and their families.
n
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, providing updates on progress and addressing concerns.
n
- Complete required client documentation and administrative tasks in accordance with relevant NDIS requirements and standards.
n
- Prepare and submit end-of-term progress reports and client updates.
n
- Assist with occasional NDIS reports and supporting documentation.
n
- Work collaboratively with the Jellybean House team to provide consistent,



high-quality support.
n

Previous NDIS experience is preferred but not essential.

n

Required Qualifications

n

Applicants must hold a Bachelor Degree in one of the following areas:

n

n
- Social Work
n
- Psychology
n
- Early Childhood Education
n
- Occupational Therapy
n
- Speech Pathology
n
- Special Education
n
- Another relevant Bachelor Degree
n

n

A valid Working with Children Check must be obtained before commencing employment.

n
