Job Description

We're looking for a Group Financial Accountant to join our finance team, reporting directly to the CFO. You'll own month-end close and monthly group consolidation across our four entities, manage intercompany transactions and eliminations, and get hands-on with project accounting for our commercial operations.

This isn't a role where you'll be boxed into one narrow function — you'll work closely with the CFO across the full finance function, with real scope to shape how things are done as we grow. For the right candidate, this role offers a genuine opportunity to progress into a Financial Controller position as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- End-to-end month-end close across 4 entities
n
- Monthly group consolidation (manual/Excel-based) incl. intercompany eliminations
n
- Project accounting — WIP, cost tracking, margin analysis
n
- Balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger integrity
n
- Assist with statutory accounts, tax compliance (BAS/FBT) and audit
n
- Support budgeting,



forecasting and cash flow reporting
n
- Business partner with operations and project teams
n

About You nn
- 4-5 years' experience in financial/group accounting, ideally manufacturing or project-based
n
- CPA qualified or actively studying towards CPA/CA
n
- Proven multi-entity consolidation and intercompany experience
n
- Experience working with Xero and Salesforce
n
- Ambitious and keen to grow into a Financial Controller role over time, should the opportunity arise
n
- Strong communicator, comfortable business-partnering with non-finance stakeholders
n
