One For All Constructions is seeking a skilled Carpenter and 1st/2nd and a 3rd/4th year apprentice to join our growing team in Toowoomba, Queensland. This is a full-time position offering an excellent prospect for both experienced carpenters and apprentices to develop their craft within a dynamic construction environment. You will work on-site in Toowoomba and surrounds, contributing to quality construction projects that reflect our commitment to excellence.

Key responsibilities

n

As a Carpenter and 1st/2nd and a 3rd/4th year apprentice, you will be responsible for:

n

Performing carpentry work including framing, fitting, and finishing of timber and other materials on construction projects

n

Reading and interpreting architectural plans, specifications and technical drawings

n

Measuring, marking, cutting and shaping timber and materials with precision and accuracy

n

Installing doors, windows, cabinetry and other timber fixtures to specification

n

Constructing and erecting structural timber components and frameworks

n

Ensuring all work complies with relevant building codes, safety standards and company procedures

n

Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition

n

Collaborating with other tradespeople and site teams to ensure project timelines are met

n

Supporting site safety protocols and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement

n

Assisting with apprenticeship training and skill development where applicable

n

What we're looking for

n

A qualification in carpentry, carpentry apprenticeship

n

Experience in residential or commercial carpentry projects, or demonstrated commitment to learning the trade (for apprentices)

n





Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications

n

Sound knowledge of carpentry tools and equipment, with the ability to use them safely and effectively

n

A strong understanding of building codes, Australian Standards and workplace health and safety regulations

n

Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in varied weather conditions

n

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

n

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

n

A valid driver's licence and reliable transport to site locations

n
