Job Description

Location Fitness PTY LTD is seeking a Gym Attendant to join our team in Goulburn, NSW. This is a permanent part-time position (3pm-7pm weekdays and 9am-1pm every second Saturday) that plays a vital role in maintaining our facility and delivering excellent member service. As a Gym Attendant, you will be the face of our gym, ensuring our facility remains clean, welcoming and safe for all members.

Key responsibilities

n

Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of all gym facilities, including equipment, changing rooms, bathrooms and common areas

n

Performing regular equipment checks and sanitation procedures to ensure member safety and satisfaction

n

Greeting members in a friendly and professional manner, providing support and answering general inquiries

n

Assisting with equipment setup, maintenance and minor repairs as required

n

Restocking supplies such as towels, amenities and cleaning products throughout the facility

n

Monitoring the gym floor to ensure facilities remain tidy and organised during operating hours

n

Supporting front desk operations including member check-ins and signups

n

Following health, safety and hygiene protocols and reporting any maintenance issues promptly

n

About you

n

Previous experience in a customer-facing service environment (preferred but not essential)

n

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation

n

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour

n





Physical fitness to perform duties that require standing for extended periods, lifting and moving equipment and weights

n

Reliability and punctuality with the ability to work fixed permanent part-time hours

n

A passion for fitness and wellness, and enthusiasm for supporting our fitness community

n

Basic understanding of gym equipment and health and safety practices

n

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

n
