Lynskey Structural Consultants Pty Ltd is an independent structural engineering consultancy founded in 2003 . We provide practical and economical structural solutions across residential, medium/high-rise, commercial and industrial projects.
Due to continued growth and succession planning, we are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our Brisbane team.
The Opportunity
This is more than a senior engineering role. For the right person, this position provides a genuine pathway to taking over and ultimately owning the business .
You will work directly with the current owner, progressively taking responsibility for project management, client relationships and the day-to-day running of the consultancy.
The Role
Working closely with clients and project consultants, you will:
- Lead structural design and documentation across a range of projects
- Manage projects from design through to construction
- Design in steel, reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, masonry and timber
- Undertake site inspections and resolve construction issues
- Liaise directly with clients, architects, builders and consultants
- Develop practical and economical structural solutions
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- 10+ years' structural engineering experience , preferably in Australia
- Must be RPEQ
- Strong structural design experience across a range of materials
- Strong communication and client management skills
- Ability to manage projects independently
