This is a Jewellery Retail Sales Assistant position within a growing jewellery business with a strong focus on Arabic-inspired gold and fine jewellery. The role suits someone who genuinely appreciates jewellery, understands exceptional customer service and is confident assisting clients with considered, often high-value purchases.

Key responsibilities n

n
- Providing attentive, personalised service to new and returning clients
n
- Assisting customers with the selection of gold, diamond and precious-stone jewellery
n
- Understanding client preferences, requirements and budgets and recommending suitable pieces
n
- Providing knowledgeable advice on gold purity, diamonds, gemstones, styles and settings
n
- Building solid, long-term client relationships
n
- Processing sales, customer orders, repairs, resizing and enquiries
n
- Maintaining immaculate presentation of showcases and the retail environment
n
- Assisting with stock receiving, tagging, pricing and stocktakes




n
- Following security and stock-control procedures
n

About you nn
- Experienced in retail sales, preferably within jewellery, luxury goods or premium retail
n
- Knowledgeable about gold and precious jewellery
n
- Familiar with different gold purities, including 9K, 14K, 18K and 22K
n
- Comfortable discussing diamonds, gemstones and jewellery with customers
n
- Confident, warm and engaging with excellent communication skills
n
- Immaculately presented and well-groomed, with a polished professional manner
n
- Honest, trustworthy and responsible when handling high-value merchandise
n
- Detail-oriented, organised and reliable
n
- Available to work retail hours, including weekends where required
n
- Previous jewellery-store experience highly regarded
n
