About the Role

n

Hinterland Pools is a locally owned Pool Shop based in Alstonville Plaza, providing regular pool servicing, maintenance and repairs to swimming pools around Alstonville and surrounding areas throughout the Northern Rivers.

n

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Pool Technician to join our team. The role is primarily focused on regular pool servicing, equipment installations, with the opportunity to also become involved in pool construction.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Carry out scheduled pool and spa servicing and cleaning.
n
- Test and balance water chemistry and safely handle pool chemicals.
n
- Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot pumps, filters, chlorinators and other equipment.
n
- Complete basic equipment repairs and installations where required.
n
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate professionally with customers.
n
- Maintain the service vehicle, tools,



equipment and stock.
n
- Assist with pool construction projects as required.
n
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
n

Skills & Experience

n

Previous pool industry experience is preferred; however, training can be provided to the right applicant.

n

The successful applicant should have:

n

n
- Current Australian driver's licence.
n
- Good practical and mechanical ability.
n
- Good communication and customer service skills.
n
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload.
n
- Reliable, punctual and skilled attitude.
n
- Reasonable physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors.
n

n

Experience in pools, plumbing, construction, landscaping or another trade would be highly regarded.

n
