Northern QLD hospital in Townsville is seeking a Specialist in Drug & Addiction Medicine from 16 September 2026 to 27 June 2027. The role focuses on specialist AOD and psychiatric assessment, treatment, and clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary team.

There is no dedicated inpatient bed, but day withdrawal services exist; the role may cover the In-Hospital Team for acute MH inpatients or Cairns Hospital ED admissions.
