Senior Recruitment Consultant (Global Network Specialist)

The Senior Recruitment Consultant (Global Network Specialist) leads the development and management of Peritus's global candidate and client network and delivers end to end recruitment solutions across both contract and permanent placements. The role draws on deep global networks to source and attract high calibre talent, provides senior level advice to client organisations and candidates, and builds the candidate pipelines that support Peritus's continued growth.

Key responsibilities

- Build, develop and maintain Peritus's global candidate and client network.
- Leverage extensive global networks to identify, attract and engage high calibre and hard to find candidates.
- Obtain and confirm details of job vacancies from client organisations, including the qualifications, skills, experience and duties required for each role.
- Prepare and place job advertisements across job boards and professional networks.
- Source, screen and interview candidates, assessing their suitability, skills and experience against client requirements.
- Manage recruitment campaigns from client briefing through to offer, placement and onboarding, across contract and permanent roles.
- Build and maintain candidate databases and talent pools, keeping accurate and compliant records.
- Advise candidates on suitable opportunities, remuneration,



career development and interview preparation.
- Advise client organisations on labour market conditions, salary benchmarking and workforce and talent strategy.
- Develop new client relationships and maintain and grow existing accounts.
- Negotiate terms of business, fees and rates with clients and remuneration packages between clients and candidates.
- Coordinate reference checks, right to work verification and other pre placement compliance requirements.
- Mentor and support junior consultants and contribute to the capability of the wider team.
- Represent Peritus at industry events and continue to grow the firm's skilled profile and global network.

Skills, qualifications and experience

- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent relevant recruitment consulting experience.
- Demonstrated experience as a recruitment consultant.
- A strong and established global candidate and client network.
- Proven ability to build and manage candidate and client networks across markets.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and consultative selling skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound judgement in assessing candidate suitability and advising clients.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and meet placement targets.
