Join a newly refurbished Jewish Care psychology centre funded by PHN.

n

We are seeking psychologists with a depth of experience in complex client presentations that may include addiction, trauma, family and domestic violence and risk management.

n

The positions will be for 2 days or 4 days a week - Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.

n

The established team is led by a Clinical Lead and unlike private practice, the organisation manages all running costs, referrals and bookings and offers both internal and external clinical supervision.

n

We are seeking psychologists who may currently work in private practice and have 2 to 4 days per week available to join our team and provide psychological support for the Jewish community.

n

The Psychologist provides trauma-informed clinical intervention for individuals impacted by the Bondi incident and other mental health challenges utilising a variety of trauma informed modalities.

n

About the Role

n

As a Psychologist, you will:

n

n
- Have in-depth knowledge and experience in at least one of the areas of addiction, trauma, family and domestic violence and risk management
n
- Develop individualised treatment plans aligned with best-practice models
n
- Deliver evidence-based therapies such as CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR and other trauma-informed approaches
n




- Provide short-to medium-term therapeutic interventions
n
- Conduct risk and suicide/self-harm assessments
n
- Develop safety plans and crisis support strategies
n
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
n
- Work collaboratively with community stakeholders and referral services
n
- Support clients experiencing trauma reactions, grief, distress, and disruption
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role you will have:

n

n
- Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
n
- Strong clinical assessment, formulation and therapeutic skills
n
- Demonstrated experience providing trauma-informed psychological support with adults
n
- Experience working with individuals with complex psychosocial needs
n
- Ability to provide compassionate, accessible clinical guidance
n
- Understanding of community mental health systems and referral pathways
n
- Robust communication and engagement skills
n

Mandatory Requirements

- AHPRA registration as a Psychologist
n
- Working With Children Check
n
- NDIS Worker Check completed or can be actioned
n
- Understanding of Jewish values, heritage and culture
