As Delorean continues to expand nationally, we are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to strengthen our commercial capability and support the delivery of critical renewable energy infrastructure projects across Australia.

About Position

Working closely with senior leadership and project teams, you will help shape commercial frameworks, strengthen contract governance and ensure robust commercial outcomes across Delorean's renewable gas portfolio.

This role offers flexibility and can be structured as either part time or full-time , making it ideal for an experienced contracts professional seeking a balance between strategic involvement and flexibility.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in contract management within construction, infrastructure, energy or industrial projects, with a strong understanding of Australian standard contracts, subcontract administration, claims management and commercial negotiations.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Oversee all contractual activities across Delorean's renewable energy projects, ensuring effective contract management,



risk mitigation, successful delivery and protection of business commercial interests.

Take ownership of the full contract lifecycle, including the preparation, negotiation, administration and management of EPC, subcontractor, supplier, client and operations contracts.

Work closely with Projects, Engineering, Operations and Legal teams to identify and manage contractual risk, resolve commercial matters, oversee contract compliance and support successful project delivery from procurement through to completion.

Lead commercial negotiations, contract variations, claims and dispute resolution to achieve favourable business outcomes.

Provide strategic commercial advice to Executive Management, Projects and Operations on contractual matters, procurement strategies and commercial risk.

Drive contract compliance by ensuring all contractual obligations, governance requirements and regulatory standards are met.

Develop and continuously improve contract management systems, templates and processes to support best practice across the business.

Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers and key stakeholders.

Support tendering, procurement and business development activities by providing commercial and contractual expertise.

Undertake other duties as reasonably required, consistent with the scope and responsibilities of the role.

Experience and Expertise





Extensive experience managing contracts within construction, infrastructure, engineering, energy or major industrial projects.

Demonstrated success in managing contractual risk, claims, variations and dispute resolution.

Strong understanding of Australian standard contracts, subcontract administration, claims management and commercial negotiations.

Demonstrated ability to provide commercial leadership and influence strategic decision-making across complex projects.

Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.

Tertiary qualifications in Law, Commerce, Construction Management or a related discipline

Experience in renewable energy, bioenergy or major infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM management systems.
