About the Role

We are looking for a Senior AEM Backend Developer to join our Sydney-based delivery team. The role will focus on developing and implementing scalable enterprise solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) .

n

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience in AEM backend development, Java, OSGi, Sling, JCR/Oak and AEM as a Cloud Service , along with the ability to work directly with clients, architects and distributed delivery teams.

n

Knowledge of Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS) is a nice-to-have.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- n

Design and develop robust backend solutions using Adobe Experience Manager.

n
- n

Develop custom AEM components, services, workflows and integrations.

n
- n

Develop and maintain AEM applications using Java, OSGi, Sling Models and JCR/Oak .

n
- n

Build REST APIs and integrations between AEM and third-party enterprise systems.

n
- n

Work with AEM as a Cloud Service and Cloud Manager.

n
- n

Develop solutions using AEM Core Components and custom extensions.

n
- n

Configure and develop AEM workflows, schedulers, servlets and event handlers.

n
- n

Troubleshoot application, integration and production issues.

n
- n

Participate in technical design, estimation and code reviews.

n
- n

Follow development, security and performance best practices.

n
- n

Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, QA and frontend developers.

n
- n

Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers.

n
- n





Work closely with offshore delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.

- n

Participate in client discussions and provide technical recommendations when required.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Robust communication and client-facing skills.

AEM certification is desirable.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Senior AEM Backend Developer with strong Java and AEM expertise, experience in enterprise implementations and exposure to AEM Cloud Service.

Experience with Edge Delivery Services is an added advantage , but candidates with strong AEM backend and AEM Cloud experience should also be considered.
