Hussey & Co, established in 1975, are renowned for producing Australia's finest gourmet baby leaf salad mixes.

We are seeking a reliable individual who has the ability to think ontheir feet and work proactively and efficiently.

n

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for providing experienced technical and general maintenance services at our farm located in Newry.

n

Pay Rate: Depends on experience - Hussey & Co pay above the Agricultural Award

n

Key responsibilities:

n

n
- Plan, coordinate and execute preventative and reactive maintenance
n
- Diagnosis and repair of machinery in a timely manner
n
- Meet company KPI's
n
- Assist with the installation and relocation of associated equipment
n
- To comply with all relevant OH&S; legislation
n
- Manage general repair and maintenance of equipment
n
- Determine tools and equipment needed for individual repair or maintenance jobs
n
- Maintain an efficient and up to date data recording system
n




- Robust knowledge of various maintenance methods and the ability to investigate problems, determine and implement root cause corrections
n

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

n

n
- Hands on and show of commitment
n
- Successful completion of an appropriate Diesel/Tractor Mechanic trade
n
- Technical skill set across a variety of engineering competencies (Welding, Fabrication etc)
n
- Be self-motivated with a positive attitude
n
- Hold a current driver's licence
n
- Be flexible and have the ability to adapt to changing demands
n
- Good computer literacy with well developed written and verbal communication skills
n
- Good analytical skills, attention to detail and decision-making ability
n
- Proven ability and willingness to work as part of a team
n
- Ability to work autonomously, without supervision
n
- Availability to work an on call roster on weekends
n
