Warehouse Assistant | Full-Time | Chatswood, NSW | Monday–Friday

Duraflex Group Australia is seeking a dependable and hands‐on Warehouse Assistant to join our team at our Chatswood head office.
n
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will assist with the day‐to‐day operation of the warehouse, including receiving stock, picking and packing customer orders, dispatching goods, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
n
This is a permanent, full‐time, hands‐on position with no people‐management responsibilities. It would suit someone seeking a stable, long‐term role within an established business.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm

Key responsibilities
n

- Receive, unload, check and put away incoming stock accurately
n
- Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders efficiently
n
- Assist with stocktakes and regular inventory checks
n
- Complete warehouse documentation and system updates
n
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly
n
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse workplace
n
- Help investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
n
- Support the Warehouse Manager and wider team as required
n
n
About you
n

- Reliable, punctual and committed to consistent attendance
n
- Looking for a stable, long‐term employment opportunity

- Comfortable working in a hands‐on and physical environment
n
- Organised and able to follow established processes
n
- Careful and accurate, with strong attention to detail
n
- Willing to learn new systems, products and warehouse procedures
n
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
n
- Confident using a computer for basic warehouse and inventory tasks
n
- Clear and respectful in your verbal and written communication
n
- Previous experience in warehousing, distribution, stock handling, picking and packing, or dispatch is viewed favourably but is not essential
n
- A current forklift licence is an advantage; however, applicants without a licence who are willing to obtain one are also encouraged to apply
