Are you a qualified Electrician with a passion for automation and critical infrastructure? Isaac Regional Council is seeking a skilled Electrician/ SCADA Technician to join our Water and Waste Directorate and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing essential services across the region.
n In this diverse, hands-on role, you'll deliver expert electrical, maintenance, programming and SCADA support across our water and wastewater facilities, helping ensure safe, reliable services for our communities. n To be successful in this position, you will:

n

n
- Hold a current Electrical Trade qualification, relevant Australian electrical licence, Construction White Card, and C Class Open Driver's Licence
n
- Demonstrate experience in electrical maintenance, installation and fault finding within industrial or infrastructure environments
n
- Have hands‐on experience with SCADA systems, PLCs, RTUs and telemetry equipment, including programming and system upgrades
n
- Apply strong problem‐solving skills to diagnose and resolve electrical and automation faults, minimising downtime
n
- Contribute to planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance in collaboration with operational teams
n
- Ensure all work complies with Electrical Safety legislation,



regulations, standards and Council safety systems
n
- Be willing to participate in an on‐call roster, work flexibly across multiple sites, and meet mandatory health requirements including pre‐employment medicals and immunisations
n

If you are successful in this position, you will receive:

- Salary $73,257.00 per annum (Level C10, Stream C) plus allowances, including:-n n
- $21,000 Over Award Payment
n
- Construction workers allowance
n
- Locality allowance
n
- Tool allowance
n

- Tool of Trade Vehicle
n
- Subsidised Council Housing of $80.00 per week
n
- Nominally 38 hours per week with flexible work pattern options
n
- 5 weeks annual leave per annum @ 17.5% loading

- 15 days personal leave per annum
n
- Up to 14.5% superannuation in accordance with Council Policy
