Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling furniture to a high standard, assisting with cabinet making tasks, and ensuring all products meet our quality expectations before delivery.

Key responsibilities

n

Assemble custom-made furniture, beds, case goods, and commercial furniture

n

Read and interpret drawings and assembly instructions

n

Design, use and manage assembly jigs to be used in furniture assembly

n

Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

n

Assist with cutting, machining, polishing, and finishing tasks

n

Conduct quality checks on completed products

n

Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment

n

About you

n

5 Years' experience in cabinet making, furniture assembly, joinery, or a related trade

n

Positive understanding of hand and power tools

n

Strong attention to detail and workmanship

n

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

n

Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

n

Cabinet Making or Joinery qualification (desirable)

n

Experience with commercial furniture manufacturing (desirable)
