Loadlink Logistics is looking for an experienced and professional Heavy Tilt Tray Driver to join our growing transport operation.

This is not a crash towing or general car towing position.

n

Our heavy tilt tray is a twin-steer, bogie-drive truck, primarily used for the transport of:

Machinery and earthmoving equipment

n

Shipping containers

n

Trucks and commercial equipment

n

Oversized and unusual loads

n

General heavy transport requiring tilt tray capability

THE ROLE

n

You will be responsible for operating our heavy tilt tray predominately on the Gold Coast and Brisbane and across South East Queensland.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Loading and unloading machinery, containers and equipment
n
- Correct load positioning, restraint and securing
n
- Operating the tilt tray, winch and associated equipment safely
n
- Conducting pre-start inspections and maintaining the truck to a high standard
n
- Ensuring loads comply with applicable mass,



dimension and restraint requirements
n
- Completing transport documentation and communicating with operations
n
- Dealing professionally with customers, worksites and loading/unloading facilities
n
- Taking ownership of the truck and treating the equipment as if it were your own
n

ABOUT YOU

n

We are looking for someone who is experienced, capable and reliable.

n

Ideally, you will have:

n

n
- HC or MC licence (minimum of HR licence)
n
- Previous heavy tilt tray, machinery transport or heavy haulage experience
n
- Experience loading and securing machinery and equipment
n
- Strong knowledge of load restraint
n
- Confidence operating winches and tilt tray equipment
n
- Good understanding of NHVR and heavy vehicle compliance requirements
n
- Good mechanical awareness
n
- A clean and professional approach to your equipment
n
- Strong communication skills
n
- A reliable, can-do attitude
n

n

Experience transporting excavators, access equipment, forklifts, industrial machinery and shipping containers will be highly regarded.

n

WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT

n

We don't operate a traditional towing business.

n

You won't spend your day attending crashes or towing cars from the side of the road.

n

This is a commercial heavy transport role focused predominantly on machinery, equipment and containers.
