$130,000 – $150,000 + super + KPI-related STI & LTI (equity)

Sydney CBD | Hybrid – 3+ days in office

This is an prospect to join an ASX-listed mining business as it moves towards production in Q1 2027. Working closely with the CFO and overseas mine-site finance team, you'll be responsible for management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis and understanding the key operational and cost drivers of the business.

About the role

n

You'll work across finance and operations, providing financial insights to support decision-making and helping management understand business performance.

Key responsibilities:

n

- Prepare and analyse monthly management reports
n
- Perform budget, forecast and variance analysis
n
- Analyse production, costs and operational performance
n
- Monitor key mining metrics including grades, tonnes, recovery rates and C1/C2 costs
n
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
n




- Partner with the mine-site finance and operational teams
n
- Identify financial risks, trends and opportunities
n
- Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
n

What you'll bring

- Management accounting, commercial finance or financial analysis experience
n
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis skills
n
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
n
- Strong commercial mindset and analytical skills
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- CA/CPA/CFA highly regarded
n
