Farmhand / Truck Driver - Mixed Farming Operator

We are seeking a farm hand for a diverse role spanning freight, hay production and general cropping operations. It suits a hard working operator who is comfortable on cropping machinery, happy behind the wheel of a truck, and willing to lend hand to varied farm tasks.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Operating the farm truck for freight and hay deliveries (approx. 1/2 days/week)
n
- Raking and turning hay through the season, and general hay production
n
- Ground preparation and tillage ahead of sowing
n
- Telehandler work - loading and unloading hay (strong proficiency required, or training towards it)
n
- Spray operations for summer and winter cropping program
n
- General farm maintenance and labour as the season demands
n

About you

n

n
- A current HR or HC truck licence
n
- Telehandler proficiency very highly regarded.
n
- A strong work ethic and a genuine, reliable, get-stuck-in attitude
n
- Physically fit and comfortable with demanding outdoor work in all conditions
n
- Able to operate farm machinery, or the aptitude to learn
n
- A courteous,
