Ayan Infotech are urgently looking for a Senior Data Modeler for a long term contract job opportunity in Sydney.

Title: Senior Data Modeler

Type: Contract 6 months +

Location: Sydney (on-site)

Required Skills and Experience:

n

n
- Sound experience as a data modeler. 10+ years of Data Modeling experience.
n
- Solid experience leading the creation of data model and managing the project data modelling delivery.
n
- Demonstrated experience in Azure or other cloud-based data and analytics data platform.
n
- Proven experience and competency in use of Erwin as the data modelling tool.
n
- Broad expertise across data modelling capabilities, principles and policies.
n
- Extensive understanding of Logical Data Models, Physical Data Models and Dimension Models and ability to deliver Logical Models and Physical Designs.
n




- Intimate knowledge of data warehousing with respect to various data methodologies, such as Data Vault, 3rd Normal Form, Kimball.
n
- Strong knowledge and experienced on industry reference data model e.g., Teradata-FSLDM, IBM-Industry financial or utilities model (or any other industry reference model) and have used industry data model to deliver data model for a company.
n
- A deep understanding and experience of enterprise modern data architecture patterns and processes.
n
- Positive understanding in creation and management of data management principles, data modelling and data naming standards.
n
- Suitable understanding of data ingestion, data consumption, data access & authorisation, ETL design and framework knowledge.
