MRAELhave an exciting opportunity for an Employment Consultant to join Intojobs team to deliver Workforce Australia' Employment Services.

This position is based in our Gladstone office, you will have access to a pool car fortravel and work-related purposes.

n

About the Role:

n

As an Employment Consultant, you will provide one-on-one support to help a caseload of participants within the Workforce Australia program to achieve sustainable and fulfilling employment.

n

A solid understanding of people centred case management principles including barrier management is core to continued success.

n

Key responsibilities:

n

n
- Motivate, engage and inspire job seekers to build their skills, experience and confidence and to work with them to remove their perceived barriers
n
- Create individually tailored services and support plans
n
- Support people to find suitable, sustainable and meaningful employment opportunities with local or national employers
n
- Develop partnerships with employers
n
- Provide post-placement support to both the jobseeker and employers
n

n

Key Selection Criteria:

n

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following skills and experience:

n

n
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and build rapport with jobseekers and employers
n
- Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work with a diverse range of people from different socio-economic backgrounds
n
- Be passionate about helping people and making a difference in the community
n
- Be highly organised and possess strong administration skills
n




- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office or similar software and experience using databases
n
- Have a current drivers licence
n
- Be results and target driven
n
- Be flexible and capable of managing competing demands in a fast-paced and changing environment
n
