You will be working 1:1 with a participant who has complex support requirements. Because the participant is non-verbal, your ability to read subtle behavioural cues and understand that "behaviour is communication" is paramount. This is a highly clinical, meticulously structured household.

Key responsibilities

n
- Executing strict IDDSI Level 4 (Pureed) and Level 2 (Mildly Thick) mealtime management to mitigate severe choking and aspiration risks
n
- Monitoring for non-verbal cues of distress and implementing proactive Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies- strictly without the use of restrictive practices
n
- Executing personal care routines, manual handling, and accurate clinical documentation

About you

n

n
- An active NDIS Worker Screening Card (Mandatory)
n




- Formal qualifications in Disability Support, Nursing, or a related field
n
- A HLTHPS006 "Assist Client with Medication" Certificate
n
- Demonstrated prior experience in high-intensity clinical support
n
- A valid First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and National Police Check (or a willingness to obtain these before the commencement of your first shift)
