Australian Performance Motorcycles is a growing specialist motorcycle workshop based in Raymond Terrace, specialising in servicing, repairs, diagnostics and performance work for customers across Newcastle, the Hunter and Port Stephens.

The workshop is currently owner-operated, providing the successful candidate with the opportunity to work directly alongside the owner in a hands‐on role with genuine autonomy.

The role

n

Your work will include:

n

n
- Motorcycle servicing and scheduled maintenance
n
- Mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis
n
- Engine, transmission and drivetrain repairs
n
- Brake, suspension and steering work
n
- Performance modifications and specialist motorcycle work
n
- Delivering consistently high-quality workmanship across all jobs
n
- Maintaining accurate job and service records

There will be plenty of variety, with the opportunity to work across different makes, models and types of motorcycles.

n

We're looking for someone who:

n

n
- Holds a recognised Motorcycle Mechanic trade qualification
n
- Has experience working with Ducati and Harley Davidson models (desirable)
n
- Has MIG or TIG welding experience (desirable)
n
- Has solid experience in a professional motorcycle workshop
n
- Is confident diagnosing faults and solving problems
n
- Has strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
n
- Can work independently and take ownership of jobs
n
- Takes genuine pride in their workmanship
n
- Is reliable, organised and professional
n
- Is committed to safety and quality
n
- Has a genuine interest in motorcycles
n

n

Experience with performance motorcycles, modifications, dyno tuning or high‐performance applications will be highly regarded.

n

We're particularly interested in someone who is ambitious, practical and wants to grow with a business.

You don't need to know everything — but you do need to care about doing the job properly, be willing to learn and be someone we can trust to take ownership of their work.
