Job Description

This is a hands-on role suited to a tradesperson who can confidently work across fabrication, welding, fitting and trailer repairs and is comfortable taking on a variety of jobs.

Key responsibilities

- Heavy vehicle trailer body building and fabrication
n
- MIG welding, general welding for both steel and aluminium fabrication
n
- Fitting and assembly of trailer components
n
- Trailer repairs and modifications
n
- Hydraulic and mechanical fitting work
n
- Tarp fitting and repairs
n
- Tailgate and trailer body assembly
n
- General maintenance and repair work
n
- Reading and working from drawings
n
- Working safely and maintaining a clean, organised workshop
n

About you

- Has solid experience in heavy trailer or truck body building
n




- Is a confident all-rounder who can tackle different jobs
n
- Has strong welding and fabrication skills
n
- Can work independently and as part of a team
n
- Takes pride in the quality of their workmanship
n
- Has a valuable understanding of workshop safety
n
- Is reliable, punctual and has a positive attitude
n
- Holds a current driver's licence
n
- Has heavy vehicle or trailer experience, which is highly regarded
n
