About the Role

n

An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated registered nurse with experience in Colorectal, Urology and Gastroenterology.
n You would be responsible for providing comprehensive nurse care including, but not limited to:

n

n
- Managing the physical and emotional well-being of the patient
n
- Administration of medication in accordance with hospital procedures and policies
n
- Assist with medical and diagnostic procedures carried out on the ward.
n
- Effective admission & discharge processes in accordance with hospital or ward guidelines
n
- Participate in ongoing education by attending training and study days as required or requested
n

n

n Classifications for this position will range between YP3 – YP9 ($86,580.00 - $107,510.00 per annum, pro rata).

Your Contribution

n

n
- Bachelor of nursing
n
- Current AHPRA registration without restrictions
n
- Previous experience in Colorectal, Urology and Gastroenterology nursing is desirable
n
- Excellent communication skills
n
- Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
n
- Demonstrated time management with ability to prioritise activities
n
- Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain
n

About 7 East
n 7 East is a 28 bed ward caring for patients under the Colorectal, Urology and Gastroenterology units. It is a quick-paced ward with high acuity, admitting patients both electively and through the Emergency Department. The team is highly skilled and supportive with a robust focus on multidisciplinary care, education and research.
