Food and Beverage Attendant — Barista (Full-time) | Orange NSW

MICE Group Holdings Pty Ltd operates cafes and food venues in Orange, NSW. We are looking for an experienced Food and Beverage Attendant with robust espresso skills to join one of our Orange cafes full-time.

Position: Food and Beverage Attendant (barista), full-time, permanent

Location: Orange NSW 2800

Salary: $79,499 per year plus superannuation, paid weekly

n

The role

n

Preparing and serving espresso coffee, other hot and cold beverages and food to customers

n

Taking and processing orders through the point-of-sale system and handling payments

n

Counter and table service, and looking after customer requests

n

Setting up, replenishing and packing down the coffee station and dining areas

n

Cleaning and maintaining food-safety and hygiene standards

n

Helping receive and rotate stock and keep displays presentable

n





This is a hands-on, on-the-floor role across a seven-day roster including early starts, weekends and public holidays.

Skills and experience required

n

At least three years' cafe or barista experience, with consistent espresso and milk technique at volume

n

Hospitality qualifications or barista training highly regarded

n

Warm, confident customer service and clear communication

n

Reliable across a rotating roster including weekends

n

Point-of-sale, cash handling and food-safety knowledge

n

Full Australian working rights

n

Pay and conditions

n

Full-time, permanent position, $79,499 per year plus superannuation, paid weekly, under the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020 with an annual better-off-overall reconciliation. Six-month probation. Paid training provided.
