Bundy Berries Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Farm Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our farms and crop production, including strawberries, tomatoes and raspberries. Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the farms and crop production.
n
- Oversee the cultivation, maintenance and harvesting of strawberry, tomato and raspberry crops.
n
- Operate and maintain farm equipment used in cultivation and harvesting.
n
- Manage hydroponic systems and associated fertigation programs.
n
- Develop planting, picking, irrigation and crop spraying programs in consultation with the Directors.
n
- Train, induct and supervise staff engaged in farm production.
n
- Develop appropriate staff rosters and allocate work duties.
n
- Supervise labour-hire employees involved in cultivation, picking and packing.
n
- Maintain complete and accurate records of workers engaged in piece-rate work throughout the season.
n
- Maintain proper farm operational records and provide reports to the Directors as required.
n




- Conduct and record toolbox meetings for staff under supervision at least once a month during planting and harvest periods.
n
- Ensure farm operations are carried out efficiently and safely.

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Previous experience in farm management, horticulture or a related agricultural role.
n
- Experience in fruit and vegetable crop production.
n
- Experience with strawberries, raspberries and/or tomatoes is highly desirable.
n
- Knowledge and experience with hydroponic systems and fertigation programs.
n
- Demonstrated experience supervising, training and managing farm workers.
n
- Knowledge of planting, irrigation, crop spraying, picking and harvesting.
n
- Solid organisational and record-keeping skills.
n
- Ability to manage seasonal and labour-hire employees.
n
- Relevant qualifications in agriculture, horticulture or farm management are desirable.

Salary: $79423 per annum plus superannuation Location: Sharon Queensland
