Love turning data into gold? As our Senior Plant Metallurgist, you'll lead the technical performance of our processing plant, driving improvements in gold recovery, throughput and plant efficiency. Working closely with Operations, Maintenance and Technical Services, you'll mentor a team of Metallurgists while delivering innovative solutions that keep our plant performing at its best. Key Responsibilities Include:

- Lead metallurgical performance monitoring and optimisation of the processing plant
n
- Analyse plant data to identify opportunities to improve recovery, throughput, and efficiency
n
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to plant metallurgists and processing teams
n
- Develop and implement metallurgical improvement initiatives
n
- Oversee plant surveys, sampling programs, and metallurgical test work
n
- Ensure troubleshooting of plant performance issues and implement corrective actions
n
- Work closely with operations to optimise plant control and process stability
n
- Ensure metallurgical accounting and reconciliation processes are timely, accurate and reliable
n
- Contribute to production planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes
n
- Prepare and review metallurgical reports and performance summaries that are timely and accurate
n
- Maintain strong collaboration with geology, mining, and technical services teams
n

About You:

n

You are an experienced metallurgist who enjoys leading people as much as improving plant performance. You combine technical expertise with a practical, hands-on approach and are passionate about continuous improvement.

n

You'll also bring:

n

n
- Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing or Chemical Engineering
n
- Extensive experience in gold processing and plant metallurgy
n
- Strong understanding of processing circuits including crushing, milling, leaching, adsorption, elution, and gold recovery
n
- Demonstrated experience in plant optimisation and metallurgical performance improvement
n
- Experience leading metallurgical teams or providing technical leadership
n
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
n
- Experience with metallurgical accounting and reporting systems
n
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capability
n
