Our client is a mid-sized, highly respected law firm known for providing outstanding services. An exciting part-time opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic Legal Secretary to join their Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team.

n

This role sits within the Owners Corporation division of the Team and involves direct client interaction and hands on file involvement.

n

Supporting two Principals, someof your responsibilities will include:-

n

n
- liaising with clients and taking accurate instructions;
n
- managing telephone enquiries;
n
- diary management;
n
- preparing Briefs to Counsel (hard copy and electronic);
n
- conducting searches (company, ASIC, title etc.);
n
- preparing bills;
n
- dictatyping;
n
- managing files; and
n
- general administrative tasks as required.

Skills and experience we'd love...

n

Our client is ideally seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic candidate who takes pride in their work and is passionate about what they do.

n

In addition you will have:-

n

n




- approximately 4+ years experience as a legal secretary (Commercial Litigation, Owners Corporation &/or Construction experience highly regarded);
n
- Knowledge of Supreme/County/VCAT/Federal Court rulings relating to formatting, filing and service of documents;
n
- great attention to detail;
n
- excellent time management skills;
n
- a friendly team attitude and a pro-active approach; and
n
- exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
