Corrie Street Medical Clinic – Chermside QLD

Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
n Excellent communication skills with patients, their families and other members of the general practice team
n Enthusiastic Experienced GP nurse
n Experience with Best Practice Software is ideal
n Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
n Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to demonstrate empathy for patients, families and carers
n Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
n Commitment to the application of quality improvement and best practice principles
n Strong commitment to quality patient care
n Demonstrated professional reliability, motivation, initiative and flexibility
n Be a good team player
n Positive can do attitude

Training will be provided in the following:

n

Chronic disease management and health assessment
n Childhood, general and travel immunisations
n ECG
n Spirometry




n Wound Care management
n Assisting with minor procedures
n Sterilization
n Experience in vaccine and cold chain management

n

We encourage candidates with no previous General Practice experience as well to apply for this position. We have a full time Registered Nurse who can give hands on training in every aspect of General Practice Nursing role.
