Disability Support Worker (Part-time and casual opportunities available)

Join our team as a Disability Support Worker at one of our Supported Independent Living homes and/or in Community Access in Raymond Terrace, Maitland, Thornton, Cessnock and surrounds.

We are seeking part-time and casual employees available across multiple locations including Maitland, Cessnock, Raymond Terrace & Newcastle.

Supported Independent Living

As a SIL provider, Songbird offers disability accommodation and daily life assistance so that participants can achieve as much independence as possible. We provide 24/7 supported living homes throughout the Hunter region,



including East Maitland, Maitland, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Cessnock, and beyond!

Do you have?

n

- A Certificate III or higher in Disability, Individual Support or Aged Care, or be enrolled in your second year of study towards your higher qualification in a relevant field (required)
n
- 1 years' experience within the Health, Care and/or Disability industry (required) (behaviours and mental health experience preferred)
n
- A Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (required)
n
- NDIS Worker Screen Check (required)
n
- Valid Australian Driver Licence (Red Provisional – minimum) (required)
n
