Job Description

We are a Christian, faith-based, not-for-profit organisation that supports schools, churches, youth groups, disability services, and other community-based groups. We operate several venues across NSW that specialise in outdoor adventure activities. We are looking for a proactive Cook or Kitchen Hand to deliver exceptional service to our guests.

About the role

n

This position will ensure high-quality meals are prepared and delivered consistently, and that food safety and hygiene standards are maintained across all shifts.

Key responsibilities

n

Prepare and cook meals according to set menus, dietary needs, and portion requirements

n

Maintain food presentation and quality standards at all times

n

Ensure correct storage, rotation, and handling of food to meet food safety requirements

n





Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment throughout and after service

n

Follow Work Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures at all times

n

Provide excellent service to guests through quality meals and a positive attitude

n

Support the mission work of CCC Camps by contributing positively to the kitchen team

n

About you

n

Robust cooking and food preparation skills

n

Knowledge of safe food handling and hygiene practices

n

Good organisational and time management skills

n

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

n

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

n

Flexibility to work across different shifts and meal types
