THE ROLE

n

As a Bus Driver supporting rail network operations, you'll play an important role in keeping Queensland passengers moving safely and efficiently while rail services are disrupted or replaced.

n





You'll be part of a professional operations team supporting the rail network and helping thousands of passengers reach their destination safely.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

Safely operating buses in accordance with company and operational requirements

n

Providing friendly and professional customer service to passengers

n

Following timetables, designated routes and operational instructions

n

Using navigation and onboard technology to assist with route operations

n

Maintaining a high standard of safety and passenger care

n

Complying with road laws, fatigue management requirements and company policies

n

Working a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays where required

n

WE'RE LOOKING FOR DRIVERS WHO:

n

Hold a current MR, HR or higher Australian driver licence

n

Hold a current Driver Authorisation / Industry Authority

n

Have a strong commitment to safety and a good driving record

n

Are reliable, punctual and professional

n

Enjoy interacting with people and providing great customer service

n

Can confidently work independently while also being part of a team

n

Are available to work during the 19 September to 5 October school holiday period

n

Experience in urban passenger transport or rail replacement services is highly regarded.
