About the Role

n

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Counsellor || Therapeutic Case Manager to join our dedicated team in Cannonvale or Bowen. In this rewarding role, you'll provide trauma-informed counselling and case management to empower clients on their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Conduct client intake, assessment, and risk/safety planning
n
- Deliver trauma-informed counselling (individual and group)
n
- Provide immediate and ongoing support for victims of DFV and sexual violence
n




- Advocate for clients in court and assist with DFV orders
n
- Facilitate educational programs and community awareness initiatives
n
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with legislation
n
- Collaborate with agencies to enhance client safety and outcomes
n

Position Details & Remuneration

- Full-time role: 76 hours per fortnight
n
- Salary based on SCHADS Award Level 4–5 || $46.70 - $53.43 per hour
n

What You'll Need

n

Essential

n

n
- Diploma of Counselling
n
- Current Queensland Blue Card
n
- Current Driver's Licence
n

n

Desirable

n

n
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Social Sciences, Social Work, Psychology, or related discipline
n
- 2+ years' experience in DFV or sexual violence support
n
- Understanding of trauma-informed practice
n
- Eligibility or working towards membership with AASW, APS, ACA, or PACFA
n
