Miandma Pty Ltd We are looking for a self- motivated, English speaking, articulate person to fill the role of Chef within our company.

Job Duties

n

n
- Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
n
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
n
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
n
- Oversee and manage kitchen operations
n
- Clean and organise kitchen and equipment in adherence to hygiene and safety regulations
n
- Preserve and store foodstuffs in appropriate temperature-controlled facilities
n
- Recording food temperature
n
- Train apprentices and other kitchen staff
n
- Assist with menu planning and development
n
- Stock management including ordering, rotation and wastage control
n

Skills and experience Required

n

n




- Cert IV in Commercial Cookery Diploma of Hospitality Management
n
- Minimum of 2 years' work experience as a Chef
n
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multifaceted kitchen operations
n
- Attention to detail
n
- Maintain a positive and skilled approach with co-workers and customers
n
- A versatile and hard-working person with a practical hands-on approach, who strives to achieve the best outcomes at all times.
