Sourcify Pty Ltd Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare meat for sale by deboning, trimming, cutting, mincing, and portioning according to specifications and customer requirements.
n
- Produce value-added products such as marinated, seasoned, crumbed meats and smallgoods
n
- Select and prepare meats for sausages and other specialty products
n
- Operate and maintain butchery equipment including grinders, mincers, mixers, tenderisers, and sausage fillers
n
- Prepare and apply marinades, seasonings, curing mixtures, and pickling blends
n
- Manage processes such as smoking, cooking, and curing where required
n
- Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and food safety standards across all products
n
- Provide customers with advice on meat cuts, preparation methods, and cooking suitability
n
- Assist with stock rotation, inventory control, and maintaining a clean and organised work environment Requirements:
n
- Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents encouraged to apply
n




- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience as a Butcher
n
- AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV in a relevant field
n
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of meat cuts and preparation techniques
n
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail and production workplace
n
- Commitment to food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
