Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced SMSF Senior Accountant to join our thriving team in Wagga Wagga.This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of Self-Managed Super Funds, develop your technical expertise, mentor junior team members, and play a key role in delivering exceptional outcomes for clients.What You'll Be DoingAs an SMSF Senior Accountant,



you'll manage a diverse portfolio of Self-Managed Super Funds while working closely with clients, auditors, and junior team members.Your responsibilities will include:Preparing SMSF financial statements, member statements and income tax returnsProcessing and reviewing contributions, pensions and investment transactions in line with SMSF legislationPreparing and completing SMSF audit workpapers and supporting documentationLiaising with external auditors and responding to audit queries throughout the annual compliance processManaging annual compliance obligations, lodgements and regulatory reporting requirementsCorresponding directly with clients and the ATO regarding fund compliance, lodgements and general enquiriesMonitoring contribution caps, pension minimums and other legislative requirementsIdentifying accounting, compliance and regulatory risks and providing practical solutionsWorking across Class Super and other cloud-based accounting platformsAssisting with client meetings and preparing supporting documentationTraining, mentoring and supporting junior team membersEnsuring work is completed accurately, efficiently and within required timeframesWhy Wagga Wagga?For our team in Wagga Wagga, the largest regional city in New South Wales, there isn’t a better place to live and work.
