We are seeking a skilled Payroll professional for a temporary 3-week assignment based in Knoxfield within the industrial/manufacturing industry. This role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing to support the organisation's financial operations.

Description

- Analyse and reconcile approximately six years of historical payroll and timekeeping data.
n
- Review hours worked against overtime payments and calculate any discrepancies.
n
- Perform employee-level backpay calculations using established payroll rules and methodologies.
n
- Investigate missing, duplicate, incomplete, or inconsistent payroll data.
n
- Reconcile calculations back to payroll records and maintain a clear audit trail.
n
- Prepare detailed employee schedules and summary reports for payroll review and processing.

- Deliver clear working papers and documentation to support Payroll, HR, and Finance review processes

Profile

- Strong Australian payroll experience.
n
- Previous exposure to payroll remediation, reconciliations, backpay projects, or payroll audits.
n
- Advanced Excel skills
n
- Experience reconciling payroll against time and attendance records.
n
- Strong understanding of payroll calculations, overtime, and allowances.
n
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
n
- The ability to work independently and investigate data anomalies.
