This is a part time Pastry Kitchen Assistant role at Chocolat of Mornington, a highly regarded patisserie located in Mornington, VIC. As a Pastry Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the bakery's busy pastry kitchen, helping to ensure the production of high-quality baked goods and cakes.

What you'll be doing n

n
- Assisting the Pastry Chef in the preparation and production of a variety of pastries, cakes, and other baked goods
n
- Accurately measuring and mixing ingredients according to recipes
n
- Performing basic food preparation tasks such as weighing, portioning, and decorating
n
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
n
- Following all food safety and hygiene procedures
n
- Providing support to the wider bakery team as needed
n

What we're looking for nn
- Passion for baking and a keen interest in the art of pastry making
n
- Previous experience in a bakery, kitchen, or food production environment, ideally in a similar assistant or support role
n
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in a bakery, kitchen, or food production environment is required
n




- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately
n
- Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity
n
- Excellent teamwork skills and a willingness to lend a hand where needed
n
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
n
- Candidates must be Australian permanent residents
