Full job description

n

We are seeking a high number of highly experienced Female and Male Support Workers to support within a structured SIL environment.

n

This role is suited to professionals with strong mental health capability who can confidently support complex presentations while delivering consistent, person-centred care.

n

This is not an entry-level role. Only candidates with demonstrated experience in mental health and high-support environments will be considered.

The Environment

You will be supporting participants with:

n

n
- Complex mental health presentations (including schizophrenia and dementia)
n
- Ongoing support in both home and community settings
n

n

This is a structured setting requiring consistency,



awareness and strong professional boundaries.

Non-Negotiable Experience & Capability

n

n
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in disability in Australia with complex behaviours/Mental health and following PBS Plans
n
- Reporting incidents to PBS Practician (training provided)
n
- Strong understanding of mental health presentations and behavioural responses
n
- Hands-on experience with personal care, (stoma, manual handling, hoist, catheter)
n
- Demonstrated ability to support participants safely in the community
n
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication and documentation skills
n
- Reliable, flexible, and compassionate
n

- Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
- First Aid & CPR
n
- QLD Valid Driver Licence and your own reliable transport with comprehensive insurance (must have your name on insurance)
n
- Medication competency (highly regarded)
n
- Cert III in Individual Support/Community Services
n
