The Red Shedis an outdoor-product garden retail product specialist. We have seven retail stores and workshops around Melbourne. We assist customers in purchasing ride-on mowers, lawnmowers, chainsaws, log splitters, arborist gearand other outdoor gardenequipment and we assist in the maintenance and repair of that equipment.

We are looking for someone who will initially start as an Assistant Store Manager and who has the ambition to become Store Manager at our Cranbourne store.

n

The ideal candidate needs to havea passion for sales, a proven sales record and enjoy serving and assisting people and have experience in managing a small team. An interest in mechanical or motorized equipment would be an advantage. Thisis a full-time permanent position that includesweekend work.

You will need to have:

n

- a passion for sales and good customer service skills
n
- an eagerness to learn and seek personal growth
n
- excellent organizational skills
n
- excellent written communication skills (i.e.: spelling and grammar)
n
- proficiency in inventorymanagement and POS systems.
n
- ability tospeak clearly and confidently on the phone
n
- IT competency in excel, word and outlook
n
- a love for work,



be industrious and enjoy being part of a team
n
- current drivers license and own vehicle
n
- mechanical aptitude or experience in outdoor power equipment would be an advantage
n

Specific duties include:

n

n
- in-store sales
n
- answering inbound calls and assisting with customer queries
n
- upkeep of store i.e.: updating merchandising and cleanliness of store
n
- daily closures: cash handling procedures and exact daily sales reconciliations
n
- becoming very familiar with our stock and also competitors pricing
n
- looking at the marketing and promotional aspects of the business and feeding information back to head office
n
- filling-in for store manager
n
- taking on management tasks as part of your development to eventually become a store manager
n
- attending field days and trade shows if required
n
