We have a unique opportunity for an experienced pharmacist with a passion for advancement of pharmacy practice, pharmacy operations and education, as a Practice Development Pharmacist within the Queensland Branch of the Guild.

The role will work with Guild members and prescribing pharmacists to implement change within their pharmacies.

n

The successful candidate will have excellent presentation and communication skills to liaise and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

n

We are looking for someone who is confident, well organised and can manage multiple tasks to meet objectives and timelines. You have a passion for the advancement of pharmacy practice and have an understanding of pharmacist prescribing.

This role is full-time and will report directly to the Senior Manager - Practice Development, and is available for an immediate start.

n

This role will be based in our offices in Spring Hill, Brisbane. Hours of work will be during office hours, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm.

What will I be doing?

n

Providing operational support to pharmacists studying for and conducting pharmacist prescribing services in the state of Queensland.

n

Supporting Queensland pharmacy owners and managers with all aspects of their businesses including but not limited to: Quality and Safety Pharmacy Program (QSPP), professional services implementation, growth strategies, Community Pharmacy Agreement (CPA) funding and legislative changes.

Regularly engaging with Guild members via face-to-face store visits, phone, email, and communications to answer their questions and ensure they are aware of industry updates, opportunities and membership benefits.

Maintaining records of interactions in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database.

n

Working in an office environment along with regular member visits both in metropolitan and regional areas.

What are we looking for?

n

Bachelor of Pharmacy degree (or higher) from an accredited institution

n

Registered pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia as published on AHPRA's Register of Practitioners

n

Proven management and business experience within the community pharmacy industry

n

Graduate Certificate of Advanced Practice and Prescribing for Pharmacists (desirable)

n

An ability to work independently and in an out-of-office setting

n

Great organisational skills and be able to prioritise and work to deadlines

n

Well-developed and professional communication and relationship-building skills

n

A passion for the advancement of community pharmacy

n

Availability to travel as needed
