Full-Time Cleaner/Plant hygiene Team Member– Pharmaceutical manufacturing company (Day Shift - 6am-2.06pm)

Ensign Laboratories is seeking a motivated and reliable full-time Cleaner to join our Plant Hygiene Team on day shift . This role is essential in keeping our facilities clean, safe, and compliant with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

Maintain cleanliness of internal and external areas to industry standards.

n

Maintaining office areas, Laboratories, toilets and manufacturing areas.

n

Carry out daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, collecting & disposing of waste, and bathroom cleaning.

n

Operate cleaning equipment safely, including sweepers

n

Identify and report any issues that may impact GMP compliance (e.g., pests, cobwebs, hazards).

n

Follow cleaning registers, procedures , and safety practices.

n

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Reliability, punctuality, attention to detail and strong time management skills.
n
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks (bending, kneeling, lifting, pushing, carrying).
n
- Demonstrating initiative, resilience, and adaptability to meet evolving business needs.
n
- Willingness to learn and follow GMP & industry requirements.
n
- Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a Pharmaceutical, Food or manufacturing environment. (desirable)
n
- Experience with a sweeper (desirable not essential).
n
- Working at Heights certification preferred, or willingness to complete the course.
n

Citizenship: PR or NZ/Australian Citizenship required
