ABOUT THE ROLE
n
We are seeking a WHS Coordinatorto support the WHSE team and management of the Australia group of businesses in the MSS Group.
n
As our WHS Coordinator, you'll play a key role in fostering a positive safety culture by partnering with stakeholders across the business and driving WHS initiatives.
n
You'll support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our Work Health & Safety Management System while providing expert advice on health, safety, environmental, and quality matters.
n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of WHSEQ policies, procedures, and management systems.
n
- Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on WHSEQ legislation, compliance, and best practices.
n
- Coordinate WHSEQ documentation, reporting systems, audits, and site compliance requirements.
n
- Assist with incident investigations, risk management, and the implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
n
- Promote a positive safety culture by supporting health and safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with legislative and organisational requirements.

REQUIREMENTS
n
n
- Experience in a WHSEQ, WHS Coordinator, or similar role.
n
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent) and a White Card.
n
- Sound knowledge of Australian/Current Zealand WHSEQ legislation and construction safety standards.
n
- Experience with incident investigations, risk management, and hazard identification.
n
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and report writing skills.
n
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
n
- Must have valid work rights in Australia, and the ability to obtain a police clearance.
