About the role
We seek self-motivated applicants, who possess good communication skills and can work unsupervised, as well as part of a team. Undertake maintenance and repair work to the school buildings and grounds to ensure it is a safe setting for the school community.
Part-time hours, working days are Monday and Wednesday.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure building systems and machines run smoothly e.g. air conditioning, pumps
- Undertake repair/maintenance work as required to school buildings e.g. replacing locks, windows & light bulbs, patching holes, woodwork repairs
- Perform routine maintenance of equipment
- Estimate repair costs and document repairs undertaken
- Handle, store, and distribute goods/materials
- Move equipment/furniture as required
- Upkeep school grounds e.g. mowing, pruning, weeding, planting, disposing of litter
- Assist with school improvements e.g. fencing, paving, gardening projects
- Complete daily grounds maintenance reports
- Train new employees in groundskeeping duties
- Drive school vehicles, as required.
