Experienced Forklift Operator

We are currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join a busy transport and logistics team. Previous experience within the transport industry is highly regarded, particularly loading and unloading large trucks, trailers, and handling ugly and general freight.

This is a fast-paced role where you'll work as part of a dedicated team to ensure freight is moved safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

- Operating a counterbalance forklift to load, unload, and move general and ugly freight
- Loading and unloading trucks, semi-trailers, and linehaul vehicles
- Applying and understanding load restraint requirements
- Scanning, labelling, and accurately recording freight movements using RF scanners
- Conducting pre-start and safety checks on equipment
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
- Maintaining a safe and compliant work environment at all times

Skills & Experience





- Current LF Forklift Licence
- Minimum 2 year recent experience operating a counterbalance forklift
- Previous experience within a transport or freight warehouse environment
- Experience handling ugly, oversized, or irregular freight
- Sound knowledge of load restraint practices
- Experience using RF scanners
- Full availability Monday to Friday
- Multiple shifts available AM and PM
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced setting
